Chicago-based InConvenience Inc. has partnered with Lula Commerce to launch online ordering and delivery, according to a press release sent to NACS.
InConvenience Inc. is the women-led convenience retailer behind the Gas Spot and Goods Spot brands. InConvenience Inc operates 20 locations across Iowa, Missouri and Arkansas, with continued expansion underway.
The retailer said Lula will power both Lula-managed third-party delivery on DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub and a branded first-party ordering experience through Lula Direct. The partnership brings Lula-powered digital ordering to every store in the network, allowing customers the option to order through a third-party marketplace or directly from a G Spot storefront on the web and in a mobile app.
“With Lula Hub and Lula Direct running together, InConvenience Inc can manage menus, pricing, inventory and order flow across every channel from a single dashboard. Store teams will continue to run their day-to-day operations the same way, while Lula handles the digital storefront, the marketplace integrations and the order management behind the scenes,” Lula said.
To mark the launch of this partnership and celebrate the NACS Foundation’s 24/7 Day this July, Lula and InConvenience Inc will present the Pattonsburg Fire & Rescue Protection District with a $1,000 award in recognition of its life-saving work within the Pattonsburg, Missouri, Gas Spot store community and neighboring counties.
“Convenience isn't just about being nearby. It's about being there when and how our customers need us. Our partnership with Lula expands that promise by giving customers more ways to shop while allowing our store teams to keep doing what they do best: serving their communities with conviction, care, and a little fun along the way,” said Tiffany Fraley, CEO at InConvenience Inc.
