Earlier this month, Casey’s began work to convert former CEFCO Convenience Stores in the Florida Panhandle into Casey’s stores, according to local outlet Pensacola News Journal.

“Casey’s said in a statement it will begin by converting stores in Pensacola and Pace over the next [month], followed by locations in Gulf Breeze and Navarre in mid-April. In all, it will convert nearly 200 CEFCO stores it acquired in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas,” the outlet wrote.

With each store that opens, Casey’s makes a $1,000 donation to local nonprofits.

Casey’s closed the acquisition of Fikes Wholesale, owner of CEFCO Convenience Stores, on November 1, 2024. The all-cash transaction totaled $1.145 billion.

Royal Farms is set to open its first store in South Carolina on May 18 in Myrtle Beach. Located at 391 Fantasy Harbour Blvd, the retailer said the brand-new store will feature 12 fuel dispensers and be open 24/7.

"We are honored to officially join the Myrtle Beach community as a reliable, 24/7 neighbor. Beyond our World-Famous Chicken, we are bringing real value to South Carolina through our ROFO Rewards program and a commitment to fresh, affordable meals for every resident," said Joe Kieper, district leader at Royal Farms.

Also in South Carolina, Parker’s Kitchen recently opened its second new store of 2026, located in Ladson, near the city of Charleston. “Located at 9581 Highway 78, this new store features our latest design and all the favorites you love, including fresh, delicious, never frozen chicken tenders,” a team member said on LinkedIn.

Meanwhile in Georgia, ExtraMile Convenience Stores opened a new location in Conyers, according to a LinkedIn post.

Maverik recently opened a new store in Blytheville, Arkansas. “Maverik Store 783 is now open, and we’re excited to join the community. This new store means more convenience, great food and a team ready to serve every guest with a smile. We’re grateful to everyone who helped bring this location to life,” the company posted on LinkedIn.
