ALEXANDRIA, Va. – How will you weather the financial challenges that your retail company is facing? The NACS Financial Leadership Program at The Wharton School will hone your skills through relevant and applicable exercises. The program—intended for NACS retail members only—focuses on case studies for the convenience and fuel retailing industry, using information from the NACS State of the Industry Report of 2018 Data.
“As the CEO of a small family business, I gained a great deal of insight into the financial metrics that can help my business grow,” said program participant Lisa Dell’Alba, president and CEO of Square One Markets, Inc.
The NACS Financial Leadership Program helps convenience leaders develop strategic skills in the context of financial leadership and build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Attendees learn how to cultivate a skill set that goes beyond the classroom to positively affect an organization’s bottom line, as well as gain an understanding of current trends in finance. The program also helps participants transition from information provider to strategic partner.
Companies currently registered to attend include Shell, Circle K, Racetrac and more.
“Treated holistically, NACS Executive Education helps forge the well-rounded leaders we need. Each program, standing strong individually, also acts as a puzzle piece in creating nimble, adaptive strategists and thinkers that help forward-thinking organizations grow and evolve,” said NACS President and CEO Henry Armour.
The NACS Financial Leadership Program runs July 14 to 19 at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. For more information and to register, click here.
