BP Pulse recently opened its first EV charging hub in the state of Louisiana, a spokesperson for the company told NACS.

Located at a Travel Centers of America (TA) site in Slidell, Louisiana, the site is located off I-10 and features 12 ultrafast EV charging bays with a mix of CCS and NACS connectors.

“Drivers can enjoy amenities at the Travel Center while charging, including a convenience store, on-site diner and restrooms. This launch builds on BP Pulse’s plans to install EV charging hubs at TA and Petro locations across the U.S. These brands are part of the BP portfolio, with sites strategically located across key highway corridors allowing for enroute charging when and where drivers need it most,” the spokesperson said.

Last month in Utah, BP Pulse opened a new EV charging hub near Salt Lake City International Airport, marking the first BP Pulse hub in the state. BP Pulse said the hub is located less than three miles from the airport and features 24 ultrafast EV charging bays with 400kW chargers and a mix of CCS and NACS connectors.

Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, Royal Farms announced the grand opening of its newest location in Conshohocken on June 29. Royal Farms will host a ticketed “Get Ready to ROFO” soft opening event on June 24 and 25, inviting the community to preview the new store. The new store features 16 fuel dispensers and will be open 24/7.

Over at Yesway, the retailer said it is continuing its expansion across Oklahoma with the opening of a new-to-industry Allsup's store in Wagoner.

“The new Allsup's store spans 6,277 square feet and operates 24 hours a day, offering customers a modern convenience retail experience featuring Allsup's World Famous Burritos, Yesway private-label snacks, fresh bread, milk and eggs, a well-stocked beer cave, ATMs, Western Union services and digital and cryptocurrency ATMs,” the retailer said.

The Wagoner location features 10 multi-product dispensers (MPDs), five diesel lanes and 17 truck parking spaces.

In other recent Yesway news, the recently-made-public company released its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, and reported its net income increased to $30.2 million from a net loss of $5.6 million in the prior-year period.
