Love’s Travel Stops recently opened two new store locations, one in Laurel, Montana, and another in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Love’s told NACS in an email.

The locations have 216 truck parking spaces, four RV hookups, fresh food options, clean restrooms and more, Love’s said. The Albuquerque location sits at one of the Southwest’s most important transportation crossroads, connecting freight routes between the West Coast, Midwest and southern United States, Love’s said.

Both stores also have space for EV chargers allocated to be able to quickly partner with local utility companies and install EV charging stations should there be customer demand.

In honor of the grand openings, Love’s will make donations to the following organizations in each town:

  • Laurel: $5,000 to Community Hope of Laurel and $5,000 to Shodair Children's Hospital.
  • Albuquerque: $5,000 split between Lowell Elementary School and East San Jose Elementary School and $5,000 to UNM Children’s Hospital.

Yesway laid out its expansion and growth plans for the next five years, with plans to open 130 new-to-industry stores. The retailer said it has six to eight stores planned for 2026 and expects to spend $40 million to $50 million on those builds.

The company unveiled its growth plan in its Initial Public Offering (IPO) filing last week with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

BP recently sold 13 Thorntons stores in Columbus, Ohio, and Lexington, Kentucky, to Giant Oil, all of which were rebranded within five days, according to a LinkedIn post from a Giant Oil regional manager.

In Idaho, ExtraMile Convenience Stores is continuing its expansion with the opening of a new store in Pocatello. The store is the company’s 12th new location of 2026 and the 45th in the state, the retailer said in a LinkedIn post.

Earlier this year, ExtraMile Convenience Stores partnered with Swiftly to integrate its Alcohol Cashback program into the ExtraMile, Chevron and Texaco mobile apps. The launch introduced digital savings on beer, wine and spirits for rewards members across more than 1,100 ExtraMile locations in the United States.

In Arkansas, TravelCenters of America (TA), part of the BP portfolio, opened a TA Express location in Judsonia, along I-57.

Maverik is now offering High-Flow Diesel at over 200 locations, according to a LinkedIn post from the company.

The retailer also highlighted in the post that the Adventure Club Professional rewards program delivers exclusive rewards for professional drivers, including a custom Maverik app experience and freebies for every fill-up of 50 gallons or more.
