Developed in partnership with the Yale School of Management, the NACS Women’s Leadership Program, taking place November 9-14, is an immersive program that helps women in the convenience and fuel retailing industry strengthen leadership skills, expand strategic thinking and build a lasting professional network.

Throughout the week, Yale faculty help guide discussions on topics such as negotiation, conscious accountability and decision-making frameworks that equip leaders with tools to make stronger choices and know when to bring others into the process. Participants complete assessments in advance—including the Reflective Best Self Survey and Decision Making for Leaders—to maximize the learning experience and provide practical tools to apply on the job.

“Having attended myself a few years ago, I can personally speak to the power of this experience,” said NACS’ Brandi Mauro, program manager, executive education, who leads NACS’ Executive Education program. “Equally valuable are the connections and friendships you’ll build with other leaders across the convenience industry. If your schedule allows, I can’t recommend this program enough.”

Attendees of the upcoming 2025 NACS Show in Chicago can also hear directly from several program alumnae during the education session Women Leading the Way in Convenience.”

The NACS Women’s Leadership Program is made possible thanks to the generosity of its founding endower Altria Group Distribution Company, with additional support from Frito-Lay and BP.
