BP Pulse has partnered with Waffle House to install BP Pulse charge points at Waffle House locations across the U.S. including Texas, Georgia, Florida and other locations in the South and Southeast, according to a press release. Each site will feature six ultrafast electric vehicle charging bays equipped with 400kW DC fast chargers and a mix of CCS and National Association of Charging Stations connectors. The first locations are expected to go live in 2026.
“Adding an iconic landmark like Waffle House to our growing portfolio of EV charging sites is such an exciting opportunity. As an integrated energy company, BP is committed to providing efficient solutions like ultrafast charging to support our customers’ mobility needs,” said Sujay Sharma, CEO of BP Pulse U.S. “We’re building a robust network of ultrafast chargers across the country, and this is another example of third-party collaborations enabling access to charging co-located with convenient amenities for EV drivers.”
In January, BP and TravelCenters of America (TA) opened an electric vehicle charging hub at a TA site in Jacksonville, Florida, expanding BP’s network of EV chargers in the U.S. The charging site is the first of at least 40 set to open at TA locations across the country.
According to BP, it has 37,500 EV charging bays worldwide and aims for more than 100,000 globally by 2030.
