Tesla has made headlines with the opening of its 24/7 Tesla Diner in Los Angeles, which also doubles as a charging station, drive-in movie theater and is filled with Tesla technology including its humanoid robot, Optimus, and merch, such as Cybertruck-themed food containers, reported NBC News.

Tesla described the two-story restaurant, constructed of a steel exterior inspired by the Cybertruck, as “retro-futuristic.” It features 80 charging stalls and two 66-foot screens playing a rotation of short films, feature-length movies and Tesla videos, reported CNBC.

“The menu, created by chef Eric Greenspan, featured diner staples, such as fried chicken and waffles, grilled cheese and tuna melts, as well as some themed items, such as the ‘Tesla Burger’ with ‘Electric Sauce.’ Prices range from $4 for a side of fries to $15 for biscuits and red gravy,” wrote NBC.

Musk has said that if the concept proves successful, Tesla may open similar diner Supercharger stations in other major cities.

The diner is fully electric, from the fryers to the griddles, meaning no gas stoves, reported The LA Times. Tesla began planning the site back in 2018, per the report.
