Retailers Celebrate New Store Openings

Parker’s Kitchen, Chestnut Market, Spinx and more recently opened their doors at new sites.

Royal Farms announced the grand opening of its newest location in Lexington Park, Maryland on March 10. “This brand-new store will provide 24/7 access to high-quality, fresh food, fuel and convenience items, continuing Royal Farms' mission of serving the communities it calls home. To commemorate this exciting milestone, Royal Farms will host a special, ticketed ‘Get Ready to ROFO’ soft opening event on March 5 and 6, 2025, inviting the community to preview the new store and experience its signature offerings, including a complimentary meal from the soft opening menu,” Royal Farms said in a press release.

“We’re thrilled to bring Royal Farms to Lexington Park and become a part of this community,” said Octavia Jackson, district leader at Royal Farms. “Whether you’re stopping by for our World-Famous Chicken, grabbing a quick snack or fueling up, we’re here to make every visit fast, friendly and fresh.”

Parker’s Kitchen recently opened the doors to its newest location in Richmond Hill, Georgia at the corner of 17 and Ford Ave, according to a LinkedIn post. “Check out the new version of Richmond Hill's iconic Lettuce Label mural [on our store], repainted by the original artist, Chris Walker,” the retailer said.

Chestnut Market recently opened its first store of 2025 in Mount Vernon, New York. “From planning to execution, every department played a role in bringing this location to life,” the retailer said in a LinkedIn post.

Applegreen Electric has opened five new EV charging locations across the state of New Jersey so far this year. “We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our newest EV charging locations across New Jersey so far this year. Whether you’re commuting, road-tripping or just running errands, our fast and reliable chargers are here to keep you powered up,” Applegreen Electric said in a LinkedIn post.

Spinx recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest store on Johns Island, South Carolina, per a LinkedIn post.

Huck’s Market posted on LinkedIn that it celebrated the grand opening of store #403, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, this month.

The U.S. convenience store count stands at 152,255 stores, a slight decrease of 141 stores (0.1%) compared to the store count last year, according to the 2025 NACS/NIQ TDLinx Convenience Industry Store Count.
