South Carolina-based The Spinx Company officially opened its newest store in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, earlier this month. Located at 3212 Old Highway 52, the store features a large truck lot and dedicated diesel lanes for trucks, and serves fried chicken alongside a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, the company said.

“We are excited to continue expanding in the Lowcountry with more Spinx locations to better serve our customers,” said Steve Spinks, CEO and president of The Spinx Company. “We are committed to providing exceptional customer service, quality food and a welcoming environment for all guests. This new location reflects our dedication to serving our communities with convenience and care.”

Meanwhile, North Carolina-based Fresh Stop opened stores in Largo and Orlando, Florida this month, hosting grand openings with celebratory ribbon cuttings, giveaways and community engagement throughout the day.

“These two openings are a strong way for Fresh Stop to close out 2025,” said Matt Pickelsimer, president of Fresh Stop. “We’re proud of the growth we’ve experienced this year and grateful for the teams who made it possible. As we continue expanding, we’re excited to serve more communities with the convenient, welcoming experience our guests have come to expect.”

Over at Wawa, the retailer recently opened a new store in Ranson, West Viriginia. “We were glad to help celebrate this exciting ribbon cutting and welcome another business to Jefferson County. Best wishes to the Wawa team as they begin serving our community—we’re excited to see continued investment and growth in our county,” the Jefferson County Development Authority posted on LinkedIn.

Pilot continued to expand its footprint in Q4 with “a record-breaking surge in EV infrastructure,” the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.

Pilot said it opened two new locations in Q4, one in Ohio and the other in Texas, and renovated nine stores. The retailer also made progress on the expansion of Pilot’s EV charging network to over 1,000 stalls across nearly 250 locations. The company’s largest EV charging station to date was also celebrated at an event in Elkton, Maryland.
