MEXICO – British oil company BP opened its first ToGo convenience store within a BP Autónoma gas station in Guadalajara that features a Wild Bean Café, reports El Financiero.
"Guadalajara is the city we have chosen to open the first Wild Bean Café due to its strategic importance within BP's growth plan in Mexico. Today we have 39 service stations in the state of Jalisco in operation and we continue to grow,” said Álvaro Granada, general manager of BP Mexico Fuels.
In a statement, the news source says that BP will meet the needs of Mexican consumers by offering a new concept that blends a cafeteria and convenience store within its service stations to improve the experience of refueling.
"Wild Bean Cafe pleases those looking for a quality Mexican coffee on the road, attractive promotions and, in turn, want to enjoy a fast, friendly and clean service," said the company.
BP currently operates the Wild Bean Café brand within 1,200 convenience stores in 11 countries.
