It’s All Treats This Halloween

C-stores and QSRs unveil LTOs for the Halloween season, including specialty drinks and pizza.

October 25, 2023

As Halloween creeps closer, more c-stores and QSRs are unveiling limited time offers celebrating the holiday.

Pennsylvania-based Sheetz invites customers to pick their potion with three new drinks for Halloween, available at all Sheetz locations until November 1. The limited time drinks include the Vanilla Thriller Cold Brew, a cold brew coffee with salted caramel and spiced brown sugar; the Candy Bag Milkshake, a salted caramel milkshake with caramel, chocolate and peanut butter swirls topped with whipped cream and cookies and cream; and the Transfuzion Refresher, a white chocolate raspberry layered seltzer.

Papa John’s announced the return of its Jack-O’-Lantern Pizza, available until Halloween night. The thin-crust pizza is shaped like a pumpkin and features a pepperoni smile and pepperoni and olives eyes. It only comes in a large and arrives unsliced.

McDonald’s brought back its Boo Buckets, Halloween special Happy Meal containers. This year, the buckets are four different characters and colors: a green monster, an orange skeleton, a white mummy and a new purple vampire. The buckets are available nationwide until October 31 or while supplies last.

7-Eleven went otherworldly with its Halloween offerings. The c-store is offering Area 7-11 themed merch on the brand’s online merchandise shop, 7Collection. The company also unveiled its Mountain Dew Pitch Black Slurpee and new 7-Select candy for Halloween, including candy corn, Monster Cotton Candy and Scary Gummies.

For Halloween, Grubhub is also offering special deals to Grubhub+ members. From October 26 to November 1, consumers can get a candy discount of $10 off orders of $20 or more, as well as deals at Papa John’s, Insomnia Cookies and Burger King for pre- and post-celebration treats. Krispy Kreme partnered with Warner Bro. to offer the all-new Scooby-Doo Halloween dozen.
