NEW YORK – Plenti, the U.S.-based loyalty coalition with major brands, announced the addition of the first grocer to its program, Southeastern Grocers LLC, parent company to BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys and Winn-Dixie.

Southeastern Grocers will upgrade its loyalty program by launching Plenti throughout all stores as of April 5. The full roll-out follows a successful Plenti launch in Harveys Supermarkets late last year. Plenti, a program operated by American Express, offers members numerous ways to earn points and save on merchandise, regardless of the payment method used.

As of April 5, customers at Southeastern Grocers’ network of stores can begin earning and using points for savings on groceries and gas at Exxon and Mobil locations, the only two fuel retailers participating in Plenti.

“As a founding Plenti partner, ExxonMobil understands the power of Plenti; it has brought our customers more value and it has helped grow our business,” said Kim Kemper, U.S. loyalty manager for ExxonMobil Fuels, Lubricants & Specialties Marketing Company. “We are proud to be Plenti’s exclusive gas partner and look forward to serving Southeastern Grocers’ customers across the Southeast.”
