TA Opens Truck Service Center in Mt. Vernon, Texas, and More

Also, Love’s opens it first 2024 location in Cortez, Colorado.

TravelCenters of America announced the opening of its newest TA Truck Service Center at the TA Express Duke’s Travel Plaza in Mt. Vernon, Texas, located at I-30, exit 147.

The truck service repair facility offers four service bays, with TA Truck Service Emergency Roadside Assistance available for drivers in need of assistance while in transit.

TA Truck Service has a team of technicians dedicated to providing preventive maintenance, computerized diagnostics, tire services, DOT inspections, brake/wheel end, electrical systems services and oil changes. All TA Truck Service centers provide a selection of parts inventory, oil brands and a full line of tires from Bridgestone, Michelin and Goodyear.

“We are dedicated to keeping professional drivers safe on the road by offering the highest quality of maintenance and repair to their vehicles in a timely manner,” said Cindy Crawford, SVP, TA Truck Service. “We are honored to serve all professional drivers and our ASE certified technicians work hard every day to deliver on our mission of returning every traveler to the road better than they came.”

In January, the retailer also announced a number of other openings:

A TA Express in Littlefield, Arizona, where the food offerings also include Del Taco, KFC and Sbarro. Other amenities available are a driver’s lounge, interstate speed zone Wi-Fi, and a pet area.

In Blaine, Washington, a franchise TA Express opened and offers an array of amenities, including a driver’s lounge, showers and soon to come is a pet area and laundry facilities. QSR food offerings include Jamba, Cinnabon, Pizza Hut Express and eventually a Hardy’s.

Meanwhile, Love’s opened its first location in 2024 in Cortez, Colorado. The location is open 24/7 and includes fresh food and drinks, Love’s-branded snacks and a Subway. For professional drivers, the location adds 29 truck parking spaces to Love’s network and RVers have access to four RV parking spaces.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to Montezuma-Cortez High School in Cortez.
