ST. LOUIS, MO - This Saturday, more than 160 Anheuser-Busch employees and their family members will take part in an exclusive "Builder Day," taking over Habitat for Humanity St. Louis as it builds in University City and Carondelet.

Saturday will be the first time Habitat builds in these St. Louis neighborhoods, and the organization will construct five homes in each community. Additionally, the homes will adhere to LEED platinum standards.

The Anheuser-Busch Foundation, a 2012 Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis Build sponsor, has donated $67,000 to help fund this year??s builds. This is the third year A-B has participated in a St. Louis build; the company has donated $175,000 to the organization since 2010.

"We??re proud to partner with Habitat to help our neighbors in need," said Margarita Flores, vice president of community affairs for Anheuser-Busch. "Our employees look forward to these builds and it??s a real source of pride for them and us as a company. By building homes, we help provide families more than a house. We help provide a foundation for them to thrive."

"It??s inspiring to have a company like Anheuser-Busch not only provide a contribution through their Foundation, but actually come out to help build houses," said Kimberly McKinney, CEO of Habitat for Humanity St. Louis. "Habitat would not exist without its volunteers and the support of our local corporate community."
