Dunkin’ Donuts to Launch ‘Donut Fries’

New LTO snack pops into stores to celebrate Independence Day.

June 28, 2018

CANTON, Massachusetts – Just in time for the July 4 holiday, Dunkin’ Donuts is bringing Donut Fries to participating stores nationwide on July 2.

The limited-time-offer snack is a new look at French fries but with a classic donut taste. The fries are made of buttery, croissant-style dough and tossed in cinnamon sugar. Donut fries were tested in a few Dunkin’ stores in the Boston and Providence markets earlier this year and received strong customer response. Five fries come in each order at a retail price of $2.

In other product news, Dunkin’ has a new cold brew flavor, Brown Sugar Cold Brew. The drink features naturally flavored brown sugar syrup for added sweetness, but has no artificial flavors. It is crafted by hand in small batches and steeped in a unique blend of coffee in cold water for 12 hours. This half-day process produces a distinctive, sweeter flavor from the beans that is reminiscent of dark chocolate.
