R.J. Reynolds Launches Major Ad Campaign for Camel SNUS

The ads are timed to coincide with New York City's expanded smoking ban.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company is launching a major ad campaign for Camel SNUS. Print ads touting Camel SNUS will appear in major daily newspapers, including The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, next week.

The timing of the campaign coincides with New York City€™s expansion of its smoking ban, which officially begins May 23. "R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company€™s Camel brand wants to make adult smokers in the city aware of a smoke-free tobacco product that's available to them €" Camel SNUS," said a company spokesman.

The ads were developed to alert smokers that Camel SNUS is a smoke-free option.
