ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Suzanne George has joined the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) as a meetings and events manager.
Most recently, George served an industry consultant for meetings and events for organizations including the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and National Association of Broadcasters. Prior to that, she spent 13 years at the Food Marketing Institute in increasingly responsible positions focused on education, meetings and events.
NACS serves the $601 billion convenience and fuels retailing industry by sharing ideas and insights in its award-winning publications, including NACS Magazine and the Convenience Matters podcast; creating unique networking and education opportunities, including the annual NACS Show, which is one of the 40 largest tradeshows in the country at 420,000 net square feet; and through industry-leading research and analysis.
George earned a B.S. from Clemson University in parks, recreation and tourism management. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
