ALEXANDRIA, VA – Amanda Appelbaum has joined The Fuels Institute as its director of research. She will manage the think tank’s research agenda and task groups, helping to commission comprehensive, fact-based research projects designed to assist retail business owners making investment decisions as well as policymakers considering legislation and regulation.
Appelbaum most recently served as an associate county attorney for Prince George’s County in Maryland. She also spent time as a judicial clerk in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland, and was a staff attorney for the National District Attorneys Association, National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse.
Appelbaum obtained her undergraduate degree in bioethics (graduating magna cum laude) from Washington University in St. Louis. She also received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
