ALEXANDRIA, Va. – There are roughly 34 million trucks registered for commercial use in the United States, hauling about 10.5 billion tons of freight and logging almost 450 billion miles each year.

On this week’s Convenience Matters podcast, we talk with Glen Kedzie, vice president of the Energy & Environmental Counsel, and Mike Tunnel, director of Environmental Affairs, at the American Trucking Association. From the Fuels Institute, podcast co-hosts John Eichberger and Donovan Woods talked with our guests to learn more about the trucking industry’s most important issues and concerns.

As it relates to the Fuels Institute with respect to the future of fuels, “It is critical that we continue looking at the entire breadth of transportation options out there and what’s going on in all arenas,” Eichberger said.

A new Convenience Matters podcast is released every week focusing on topics related to convenience stores.
