Making the Local Connection

NACS Show education session helps retailers hook into the local flavor of their area.

September 27, 2017

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Everyone loves supporting their local communities, through farm-fresh produce, craft beers, area wineries, events and fundraisers. Find out how to capitalize on the local craze at the “Going Hyperlocal” education session taking place October 19 at the upcoming NACS Show in Chicago.

Rather than continue with a “one-size-fits-all” approach, retailers can forge new connections with customers and the local community. During this session, moderator Carolyn Schnare, NACS director of strategic initiatives, will guide the discussion. Speakers Jeff Miller, president of the Miller Oil Company, and Steve Jones, president of Johnny Junxions, will share their experiences in tapping into the local flavors of your neighborhood to drive sales.

Attendees will learn how to identify local trends in their market, engage with their community with both events and products, and use simple tips to leverage those trends into relationships with customers and sales.

As you make your plans for the NACS Show, be sure to add “Going Hyperlocal” to your schedule! Registration for this year’s NACS Show is open at www.nacsshow.com.
