AIKEN, S.C. – When Sprint Foods opened a new location in Aiken this year, it offered customers digital convenience, the Aiken Standard reports. At the store, customers order fresh, customized food via touchscreen kiosks.

“All food prepared in our kitchen is made to order and is a step above what you would normally expect from convenience store fare,” said Anna Felz, Sprint Foods marketing director. “We are the first convenience store in the area to have a fully staffed kitchen that offers made-to-order carryout food.”

The kitchen serves breakfast all day, too. “Our iced tea is fresh and brewed every two hours,” she said. “We also serve gourmet roasted coffee, including our signature Southern pecan roast.”

Warmer weather will bring outdoor seating. “We want this to be a destination for your family,” Felz said. “We offer a very family-friendly environment with convenient access, and we are centrally located. With two Aiken locations, we are close to everything.”
