GREENVILLE, S.C.—The Spinx Company announced the opening of its newest store in South Greer, South Carolina. The new store replaces the previous location nearby.

“We are absolutely thrilled to open our newest store here in the Upstate of South Carolina,” stated Stewart Spinks. “As we continue to grow, it’s important to improve our legacy stores to ensure all customers have access to our full offering. This new store features our legendary fried chicken and a tunnel wash!”

The new location provides another location for the community to fill their gas tanks and enjoy Spinx’s fried chicken, breakfast biscuits and chicken sandwiches served fresh all day. Also at this location, Spinx is serving made-to-order milkshakes, smoothies and soft-serve ice cream in addition to its wide offering of ice-cold fountain drinks, lemonade, iced tea, slushies and the popular “chewy ice.” Hot beverages, including bean-to-cup fresh coffee will also be available for purchase.

Spinx operates more than 80 stores and 50 car washes across the Carolinas and employs over 1,400 associates through its stores, food operations and related businesses.

The Spinx Company was recently honored with the first-ever FMN Fuels Innovator of the Year Awards by Fuels Market News Magazine. The Greenville, South Carolina-based c-store chain earned the award for a fuels retailer fewer than 100 locations.

The awards were determined by combining the criteria used in the annual OPIS/FMN Fuel Leaders issue that ranks retailers with a core focus on fueling efficiency, plus examining how retailers innovate with the fuel products and EV charging opportunities to meet future conditions that include the growth of net zero emission vehicles.

In August, Spinx was named the No. 1 Best Place to Work in South Carolina by SC Biz News and the Best Companies Group. Each year, these groups join to produce the Best Places to Work in South Carolina program. This initiative is dedicated to identifying and recognizing South Carolina’s most innovative and top-notch employers.

“Being recognized as the No. 1 Best Place to Work in South Carolina is one of the biggest honors we have been given over the past 50 years,” said Stewart Spinks, founder and chairman of Spinx. “At Spinx, we consider ourselves one big family and our people are the most important part of our company. Without our committed staff, we would not be where we are today. As leaders, making our teammates lives better is truly the only way we can make our guests’ lives easier and after all, at Spinx, that’s why we exist.”
