Love’s Opens Fourth Minnesota Travel Stop

In honor of the grand opening, the retailer will donate $2,000 to a local nonprofit.

OKLAHOMA CITY—Love’s Travel Stops continues its expansion in Minnesota with a new 12,000-square-foot store in Columbus, adding 84 truck parking spaces and 75 jobs to Anoka County.

“The fourth Love’s in Minnesota will provide customers with clean spaces and friendly faces when they stop at the Heart of the Highway,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's. “The new Love's in Columbus will offer plenty of amenities to ensure that professional drivers and four-wheel customers get back on the road quickly.”

The 24/7 location offers Godfather’s Pizza (opening 9/1), Hardee’s (opening 8/22), 72 car parking spaces, nine diesel bays, 10 showers, laundry facilities, CAT scale, Speedco, bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, Fresh Kitchen concept, Mobile to Go Zone with the latest GPS, headsets and smartphone accessories plus a dog park.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,000 to a local nonprofit group.

In January, Love’s said it plans to open more than 40 locations and add more than 3,000 truck parking spaces and 3,000 jobs in 2022.

In 2021, the company welcome 38 new locations, added over 3,000 truck parking spaces and donated several million dollars to support professional truck drivers, sick and homeless children, veterans and more.
