CHARLESTON, S.C.—Savannah, Georgia-based Parker’s continues to add Lowcountry locations to its portfolio, including the recent opening of its ninth store in Charleston, South Carolina.

“This is an exciting time at Parker’s as we continue to expand our footprint throughout South Carolina and meet the growing needs of our customers throughout metro Charleston,” Parker’s Founder and CEO Greg Parker told WCSC.

The news source notes that the convenience store, located at 3900 Ladson Road, is the company’s 69th retail location and the ninth in the metropolitan Charleston area. The store features a Parker’s Kitchen with a full menu of fresh, made-from-scratch Southern food, including a chicken tender sandwich, biscuits and gravy, Southern-style breakfast biscuits, and chicken tenders and extra cheesy egg casserole.

“At Parker’s, we’re always working hard to raise the bar for what customers can expect from a convenience store,” Parker added. “With its award-winning food, sleek architectural design, sparkling interiors and commitment to the community, our new Parker’s Kitchen in Ladson underscores our commitment to customers throughout the region.”

In-store beverage options include freshly brewed sweet tea, Parker’s Fancy Lemonade, bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, 28-degree beer and fountain drinks with a southern favorite, chewy ice. Parker’s Kitchen also features a range of convenience items and fuel options, including marine fuel.

In addition to opening more convenience stores, Parker’s recently opened Parker’s Spirits, the company's first liquor store and initial venture into the spirits industry. The store’s architecture, custom fixtures, coffered ceilings, under-lit countertops, premium casework and wide aisles emphasize the importance of an excellent customer experience. The new store has an impressive selection of premier wines, craft beers, collectible bourbons and other packaged beverages.
