Retailer Shares Coronavirus Response Plan

C-stores can modify the resource for their specific operations.

TEMPLE, Texas—A new response plan developed by NACS member company StrasGlobal is available to all retailers who may looking for advice on crafting their own plans as they adjust operations in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.

“StrasGlobal’s Covid-19 Response Plan was designed and developed for an average store across the eight states in which StrasGlobal does business. But we quickly realized that this also could be of great value to other retailers who might benefit from learning how we are taking action, and we wanted to share it,” said StrasGlobal President Roy Strasburger, who is a former NACS Board member.

“We are all facing the same problem but in different ways. We are looking at it from our perspective so there is lots of room for other retailers to modify this resource for their specific situations,” Strasburger told NACS Daily.

  • Purchases

“This is a transformational moment for convenience retailers. But, as I have seen over and over during my decades in the business, we have two unique attributes. First, we are nimble and quickly adjust to a rapidly evolving situation. Second, we help each other and share ideas, and that was the intent behind sharing this response plan,” said Strasburger.
