NACS is working with a several groups to support the goals of reFresh.

Partnership for a Healthier America
NACS, the first retail association to make a commitment with to the Partnership for Healthier America, has joined several NACS retailer and supplier member companies that have also committed to the nonpartisan nonprofit organization. PHA works to develop strategies to end childhood obesity by partnering with non-profits, corporations and organizations. Check out this video produced by PHA highlighting the successes of the convenience retail industry providing healthier choices to consumers.


American Red Cross
NACS is working with the American Red Cross to connect retailers with communities affected by disasters big and small.

NACS is the first retail-focused association to partner with the American Red Cross to advance community giving in stores and assist in disaster recovery efforts. Learn how you can get involved by collecting donations in-store with custom programs and NACS donation kits and other ways you can help those in need in your neighborhood.


Keep America Beautiful
NACS is working with Keep America Beautiful to inspire and educate retailers to take action to improve and beautify their community environment through recycling programs and litter reduction activities. Feeding America
The Feeding America network of food banks and food pantries is leading the fight against hunger in communities nationwide. NACS has worked with its supplier members to help donate product to those in need.


National Safe Place Network
NACS is on the Board of the group that helps young people in need of help and safety in communities across the U.S.

Blue Campaign
NACS and the DHS Blue Campaign are collaborating to raise retailer and public awareness about human trafficking in America. Free resources are available to educate store employees to recognize instances of human trafficking and printable materials are available for public display.


NACS is working with researchers to examine environmental changes and nudges that convenience retailers may try to encourage sales of better-for-you items. 

Hudson Institute
NACS works with the group’s Obesity Solutions Initiative to examine attitudes and behavior of convenience store shoppers to help grow sales of better-for-you items.


NACS worked with KaBOOM on a recent playground build. The groups mission is ensuring that children – particularly the 16 million American children living in poverty – get the active play they need to become healthy and successful adults.

​United Fresh
NACS and United Fresh formed a partnership in 2014 to significantly increase the sales of fresh produce in convenience stores.


Fuels Institute
NACS works closely with experts at the Fuels Institute to educate business owners, policymakers and consumers about issues affecting vehicles and fuel markets.

NACS supports Conexxus, whose membership of retail and supplier partner technology experts address technology standards to improve business processes, reduce costs and increase productivity for retailers and consumers.
