NACS is committed to supporting its Members’ sale of legal products in a lawful manner. Recently, we have received many inquiries requesting the ability to display, exhibit or advertise Cannabis and Cannabis-derived products and compounds at NACS events. 

NACS has no position on whether these products should be legalized, but we prohibit the display, exhibiting or advertisement of any products that violate or that could be perceived as violating any applicable federal, state or local laws.  The production or sale of Cannabis and Cannabis-derived products and compounds is illegal under federal law and the legal status of cannabinoid products currently is uncertain. Therefore, in accordance with Section 4 of the 2018 NACS Show Exhibit Space Terms & Conditions, such products are not permitted to be exhibited or displayed at NACS events, nor may they be advertised in related publications or media.

While Cannabis and Cannabis-derived products and compounds are prohibited, Hemp products that do not include Cannabidiol (CBD) or tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are permitted at NACS events. Other Cannabis and Cannabis-derived products that are questionable may be reviewed by NACS for approval. Products in violation of these terms that are displayed at the 2018 NACS Show or other events, may be removed at the company's expense. If you wish to attend the NACS Show and you are a supplier of goods or services to the convenience and fuel retailing industry, you must register as a Non-exhibiting Supplier. Badge discounts are not available to prospective exhibitors for future events. However, we do offer a program to provide a credit towards 2019 booth space.

If an employee of your company attends the 2018 NACS Show as a fully-paid Non-Exhibiting Supplier, and your company is able to secure a booth as an exhibitor for the 2019 NACS Show, NACS will extend an $800 credit toward the cost of that booth.  However:

  1. The booth credit offer is good for the 2019 NACS Show only. No exceptions will be made (including inability to secure a booth due to sell out).
  2. This offer is available to new exhibitors only and may only be used once per company (including parent companies and subsidiaries).
  3. This offer does not constitute a guarantee that a booth will be available. The NACS Show sells to NACS and PEI members first and often sells out before sales are opened to the public. We strongly encourage you to consider joining NACS or PEI before November 1, 2018 to improve your chance of securing a booth.   4. Any attendee observed “suitcasing” * will lose their badge immediately and this offer will become void.


  1. Save your receipt! You must have your attendance receipt to get the $800 credit.
  2. If/when you secure a booth for the 2019 NACS Show, inform your sales representative that you wish to take advantage of the attendee credit offer.
  3. You must still submit an initial deposit of at least 50% to secure your booth. The credit will be applied to the second half payment, or immediately if you wish to pay in full along with your contract submission.

*Suitcasing is the act of soliciting business in the aisles during the exhibition or in other public spaces, including another company’s booth or a hotel lobby.

Why are some companies already assigned on the floor plan?

NACS Hunter Club and PEI Priority Club members support the convenience and fuel retailing industry at a significantly higher level. One of their membership benefits includes priority booth selection in December 2016. Shortly after the priority selections, space selection begins for NACS and PEI members in January 2017 based on priority points earned since 2004. Advance selection is followed by open sales to non-members and any other interested parties in July 2017.

How do I reserve a booth?

All applicants must submit their booth reservation details through the web form. I am a New Exhibitor. How do I reserve a booth?

NACS will, once again, have a New Exhibitor section in the exhibit hall. Eligible first-time exhibiting suppliers will see extra benefits that NACS has put together to raise awareness and demonstrate the value of this new Show floor area to buyers. Space in the New Exhibitor area is limited and is based availability and your eligibility.

Price and Size Limitations:

  • $35.00 per square foot
  • 10’x10’ booth options (maximum size 10’x20’ for oversized product displays, limited availability)

Can I hold a booth location pending submission of an application?

Booth space cannot be held. All booth reservations are subject to space availability at the time the application and payment agreement are received.

Which booths are available?

View the online floor plan for available booths and sizes at Booths are sold constantly, and new plans are uploaded 2-3 times daily. Booth locations cannot be held. Please make sure to include multiple booth locations in your online application request. If requested options are not available, your NACS account manager will contact you with suggested locations.

How are booths assigned? Is a priority point system used?

Booth applications received by NACS and PEI members in January-June 2017 will be assigned based on priority points earned since 2004. In July 2017, open selection begins and spaces are assigned on a first-received, first-assigned basis, based on availability. Visit the Priority Point webpage for more detailed information.

How much does a booth cost?


  • $35.50 per square foot for NACS and PEI members
  • $49.00 per square foot for non-members
  • To qualify for the reduced member fee, the applicant must be a current NACS supplier member or a member of PEI for the duration of the NACS Show (through October 31, 2018).
  • If you are not a NACS member and wish to apply, you may submit your membership dues with the exhibit space application.

What is included in the cost of a booth?

The following items are included in the cost of a booth:

  • High draped back wall (8 ft.), and 3 ft. high draped side rails (in-line booths)
  • Standard 7"x 44" booth sign (in-line booths)
  • Aisle carpet throughout the exhibit hall 
  • A comprehensive Exhibitor Service Kit
  • A complimentary company listing on, NACS Show Program and Directory, NACS Show mobile app, and floor plan (if materials are received by print deadlines)
  • Three badges for booth personnel per 100 sq. ft. or for each 10’ x 10’ space with the option to upgrade these to full registration badges for a nominal fee. An onsite fee of $100 per badge will be assessed if badges are not pre-registered before the advance registration deadline.
  • Two additional booth personnel badges available for purchase per 100 sq. ft. or for each 10’ x 10’ space with the option to upgrade these to full registration badges for a nominal fee per badge.

Note: Booth floor covering is mandatory and must be provided by the exhibitor. (Not included in the booth fee.)

What is the deposit payment required to reserve a booth?

At least 50% of the booth payment is required as a deposit to reserve a booth if applying prior to June 2, 2018. After June 2, full payment must accompany the contract to reserve NACS Show exhibit space.

Why is the NACS Show divided into sections? How do I know where I should exhibit?

NACS has segmented the exhibit halls into five main categories to enable buyers to shop for products and services efficiently. Exhibiting suppliers must display at least 60% of product applicable for a specific area to qualify. View product categories associated with each area. The five product areas are: Facility Development and Store Operations; Foodservice Equipment and Foodservice Programs; Merchandise, Candy and Snacks; Fuel Equipment and Services; and Technology.

Is Smoking/Vaping Allowed in the Exhibit Hall at the NACS Show?

  • Smoking of tobacco products will not be permitted in the NACS Show exhibit hall. Designated outdoor smoking areas will be available to sample tobacco products.
  • Vaping (usage of electronic cigarettes or personal vaporizers) will not be permitted in the NACS Show exhibit hall, or in general public space of the facility.

What is the cancellation policy?

Any change to the contracted booth size or cancellation of space must be submitted in writing to NACS. Financial penalties will be assessed based on the cancellation date as state in Section 6(a) of the NACS Show Exhibit Space Terms & Conditions. Download at
