ALEXANDRIA, Va.  – The new season of Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games: Family Style begins this Sunday, with four special family episodes, including one episode featuring NACS member Joe Chiovera and his family. Premiering Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. (7 central), the family-style showdown features four teams made up of three family members competing in each episode for a chance to win the grand prize of a $20,000 shopping spree.

Competitor Joe Chiovera is a long-time industry foodservice executive, and convenience and fuel retailing advocate. As a retailer, Joe worked tirelessly to raise the quality of the industry's foodservice offer, a mission that continues today as he advises organizations on how to be more profitable in the foodservice category. Joe works closely with NACS on industry foodservice education as a member of the NACS Foodservice Committee and as a moderator and speaker on foodservice topics at NACS Shows and NACS State of the Industry Summits.

Joe’s episode, Family Style: Kids Rule! Will feature four competing families who start by joining the breakfast club, but this is Watch Your Weight, so they can cook with only a certain amount of ingredients. Next, the families must make a hot lunch ABC style, using only ingredients whose name begins with a certain letter. The final two families go head-to-head in the dreaded game of Food Wheel. Tune in to Food Network at 8 p.m. this Sunday to cheer Joe and his family on, and see if they have what it takes to win the grand prize!
