HOUSTON, Texas – Houston-based convenience store chain QMart, provided much-needed cheer to patients at Texas Children’s Hospital by donating 500 toys through its Give Joy with a Toy campaign.

“We are committed to being fully engaged with the communities where we do business. Our Give Joy with a Toy campaign is an example of this effort, and we are truly grateful for those that contributed,” said Fazil Malik, CEO of QMart.

In addition to donating new and unwrapped toys, participants of QMart’s campaign had a buy one, give one option where the store gave a toy to Texas Children’s for each toy purchased. The campaign began in the middle of November and ended December 15, and took place at more than 20 QMart locations throughout Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Toys were delivered by Santa at Texas Children’s on December 18, with the help of QMart employees.

QMart promoted the campaign inside its stores and on social media, where it received positive comments from guests and followers who commended the c-store chain’s community efforts to uplift spirits during the holiday season.
