COLUMBUS, OH – White Castle announced earlier this week its adoption of modern day advances at a rebuilt restaurant and a commitment to adopting innovations at future locations.

A Columbus restaurant celebrated its grand reopening earlier this week, a rebuilt store that harmoniously combines the iconic White Castle retro feel with contemporary touches.

The store includes self-ordering stations with touch-screen menus, a nod to technology and convenience expectations. Additionally, soft drinks will move beyond simply cola options, with a Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain dispenser offering more than 100 beverage options.

"White Castle's had a presence in Columbus since the 1930s," said Chris Shaffery, White Castle regional director. "As we explore new locations to open Castles, we know how important it is to reinvest in the cities where we're currently located. As a family-owned business for more than 90 years, we've learned to listen to the feedback from our Cravers and to offer new innovations to make the White Castle experience more memorable than ever before."
