Church’s Chicken readies for debut of Oreo Biscuit Bites.

November 24, 2014

MCLEAN, Va. – Church's Chicken is rolling out the new Oreo Biscuit Bites on December 1, marking the first time in the chain’s 60-year-plus history that it’s “messing” with its iconic biscuits.

Mark Snyder, global chief marketing officer, told USA Today that the chain, which sells 160 million biscuits a year, tested “a number of cookie flavors but Oreos easily won out.” Although he declined to name the flavors, the chain is also planning to stuff “savory flavors” into limited-time biscuits.

Oreo Biscuit Bites will only be available through December 28, selling at 99 cents for a pack of five or $2.99 for a pack for 20.

"We all grew up with Oreos — even Millennials," Snyder commented. "It's a part of everyone's life."
