BUFFALO, N.Y. – Each Delta Sonic Car Wash location will show its appreciation to veterans by providing free Super Kiss car washes and semi-synthetic oil changes to all veterans and military service personnel on Saturday, November 11.

In the spirit of our U.S. military’s century-old code of honor, recipients simply need to tell the car wash cashier or oil change technician that they are an active member or a veteran of the armed forces to receive the free services.

Delta Sonic believes that it is important to remember those who have served our country and want to emphasize the importance of support for the military. “This is our ninth year providing free car washes on Veteran’s Day and the sixth year we are offering free oil changes,” said Kim Canna, director of marketing, in a press release. “It is a great way for us and our employees to give back to those who have given so much.”

Offering free car washes on Veteran’s Day is part of a national campaign called Grace for Vets, which started in 2004. Last year 3,654 locations participated and washed more than 290,000 cars.
