Tim Hortons Saluting U.S. Veterans With Free Treats

Donut chain continues its annual free donut giveaway this Veterans’ Day.

November 05, 2013

DUBLIN, OHIO —Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop announced earlier this week that it is offering all active and inactive U.S. military veterans a free donut this Veterans’ Day, a gesture of thanks for their service and dedication to their country.

"A free donut to our veterans is just a small way for us to give back to those who give so much, every day," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S.

This is the fifth year the donut chain is treating U.S. veterans with its signature treat. The promotion will last all day on November 11 at participating restaurants or until supplies last.

To receive a free donut, veterans need to be dressed in uniform or show their military ID when they visit a Tim Hortons store.
