WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. – Already voted as making the best cup of coffee in America, QuickChek continues to be the recommended choice close to where those in the Garden State live and work, too.

In a survey of retail foodservice companies, the convenience store chain came in first in overall satisfaction, recommendation and price value for coffee in the third quarter of 2014, beating out Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts and McDonald’s.

In fact, QuickChek outsold Starbucks in hot brewed units during the quarter despite having 40% fewer locations (124 stores to 208 measured in the survey).

The survey, conducted by StudyLogic, asked 19,502 respondents throughout North and South Jersey to rank vendors including QuickChek, Wawa, Starbucks, Subway, McDonald’s, Dunkin Donuts and 7-Eleven in a variety of food and beverage categories.

Further establishing its position as the neighborhood shopping destination, QuickChek was the only retailer in the survey with less than 200 locations in the market.

“We are very pleased consumers continue to think so highly of our brand,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. “We’ve built this company by being totally committed to what the customer wants and we will continue to provide an exceptional fresh food and beverage program that can be enjoyed any time, day or night.”

QuickChek recently introduced its new Reserve Blend regular coffee to meet consumer needs for a richer, bolder, taste.

The family-owned and -operated company currently runs 138 retail locations throughout New Jersey and New York’s Hudson Valley, including 11 pharmacy stores and 45 locations with fuel, and will be opening its first store on Long Island in October 2014.
