WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. – QuickChek Corporation, which has been named one of the most generous companies in New Jersey for supporting the communities it serves, also continues to take care of its own.

More than 150 executives, employee team members and vendors of the convenience store chain enjoyed playing miniature golf on a makeshift course on the lawn of the company’s headquarters support center in Whitehouse Station on Tuesday, October 11, to raise money for the QuickChek Family Fund.

The QuickChek Family Fund supports employees who may suffer a hardship during the year, as well as supplying toys and gift cards to families in need to ensure that their upcoming winter holidays will be brighter. For more than a decade, QuickChek has held events throughout the year for the Family Fund, which is supported solely by employees and company vendors.

For this year’s event, each of the company’s internal departments created a U.S. city-themed miniature golf hole on the lawn of the QuickChek Support Center. Participants were asked to dress up as representatives of the U.S. city of their choice or represent their city-themed golf hole.

QuickChek is a privately-held convenience store chain that employs more than 3,700 people in 145 store locations throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island. The company was recently named the 2016 National Convenience Store Chain of the Year and enjoys the rare distinction of being named one of the Best Companies to Work in both New Jersey and New York State.
