WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. – According to a recent survey of the 20 largest U.S. convenience store chains by number of units that offer foodservice (plus QuickChek and Pilot/Flying J, which were chosen for their distinctive offerings), QuickChek was voted #1 in both Overall Beverage Quality and Food Quality.

In its 2014 survey, “Consumer Brand Metrics: Convenience Stores,” Technomic Inc., a leading food industry research company, asked respondents to identify the retail chains they visited from the 22 brands, then were asked detailed questions about their most recent visit to that c-store chain, followed by brand-specific questions relating to reasons for visiting, occasion and ratings of the brand across 50 attributes. The consumer survey and data was collected from 2,413 respondents (roughly 100 per chain) across the United States.

A market leader in foodservice with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh food program dedicated to total customer satisfaction, QuickChek was rated first in Overall Beverage Quality (coffee) with a 96% rating (out of 100) and first in Food Quality with a 94% rating.

“We are committed to delivering what the customer wants,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, in a press release. “We refer to this as ‘total customer dedication’ and it’s an honor to be recognized for the principles in which we have built this company. We are driven to define the term ‘fresh convenience’ — fresh food, fresh coffee, fast fuel and friendly people.”
