SEATTLE - Brown Car Wash announced earlier this week that it will offer free "Bear Essential" car washes this Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm as it celebrates its 53rd anniversary.

The giveaway takes place at all of BB??s automated "tunnel wash" locations in the Puget Sound area. Over the past four years, the company has washed 78,760 vehicles during its annual "Free Car Wash Day" as it celebrated its founding.

"We??ve had an amazing response each year. It??s a fitting way to say 'thank you?? to our customers who have supported us over the years. And hopefully we??ve introduced new customers to the kind of service and value we deliver year around," said Brown Bear founder and owner Vic Odermat.

The company owns and operates 41 car washes in Washington State and a network of gas station and convenience stores.
