OAKVILLE, ONTARIO – Adding to an already crowded K-Cup portfolio of branded coffees, Tim Hortons announced this week that it has launched its own Keurig K-Cup single serve coffee cups.

Available in regular and decaf, the single serve coffee cups feature Tim Hortons’ premium blend coffee, made from 100% Arabica beans. The cups are available in packs of 14 at Tim Hortons restaurants in Canada or the company’s website, where they can be shipped throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"Whether in our restaurants, at home or on the go, we want to make it easy for our guests to enjoy a great tasting cup of Tim Hortons coffee," said Dave McKay, vice president, marketing, beverages, Tim Hortons. "The launch of our new Tim Hortons Keurig compatible single serve coffee cups, is yet another way we are able to bring our premium blend coffee to our guests and reinforce our coffee leadership in Canada."

McKay said the move is designed to expand the Tim Horton brand to those who might not have access to a Tim Hortons restaurant.

"We recognize our guests can't always get to one of our restaurants, but still want a cup of Tim Hortons freshly brewed coffee. With nearly 80% of coffee drinkers consuming coffee at home in the past day, we are pleased to offer a new way brew Canada’s favorite coffee at home,” he said.
