BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – According to Mintel, millennials are leading the snacking revolution, with a quarter of them snacking four or more times a day. So, with snack frequency increasing, Kellogg is making snacks more readily available and accessible.

Kellogg announced that three of its more popular snacks, Pringles, Rice Krispies and Cheez-Its, can now be enjoyed through a ride share thanks to a new partnership with in-car produce service Cargo. Ride-share users in Boston and New York are the first to grab these snacks while on-the-go.

Cargo provides a center console filled with snacks that are available to ride shares, like Uber, for passengers to purchase via their mobile phones. Products can include snacks, phone chargers, Advil, energy and beauty products.

Per Cargo’s website, the service helps rideshare drivers earn more money by providing complimentary and premium products to passengers. The company ships the Cargo console and a monthly supply of products directly to drivers, who can earn up to $1.50 extra per passenger in sales commissions, plus earn weekly/monthly bonuses, referral bonuses and tips through Cargo's in-app tipping.
