ARLINGTON, Va. – Following the heinous murder of three police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA) is letting its members know how they can help support the officers’ families.

The July 17 shootings occurred near the B-Quik convenience store in Southeast Baton Rouge, a family owned store since 1951. Justin Alford, vice president of B-Quik, serves on the Louisiana Oil Marketers and Convenience Store Association’s board of directors. Parent company Benny’s Car Wash is a NACS member.

In its weekly newsletter, PMAA cited a fund established in 1988, the East Baton Rouge First Responder's Fund from the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, that provides support to families of injured or fallen law enforcement and first response professionals. Donations to the fund can be made here.

Furthermore, individual GoFundMe accounts have been set up to directly support the families of Officer Montrell Jackson, Officer Matthew Gerald and Sheriff's Deputy Brad Garafola. Information is also available via the B-Quik website
