HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - A new limited-edition flavor of Milky Way is coming to store shelves in February. The French Vanilla and Caramel Bar is a combination of caramel, French vanilla-flavored nougat and milk chocolate.

This new offering expands the Milky Way brand??s reach and entices consumers to experience an exciting new flavor to the candy aisle. The introduction of the new candy bar will be supported by public relations and a digital/social media campaign on Facebook, as well as a variety of in-store displays to help attract consumers and drive sales for retailers.

French Vanilla and Carmel Bar is the brand??s first new flavor offering since the successful launch of the Simply Caramel Bar threeyears ago, and sales remain strong.

Research shows that consumers are willing to try new flavors from brands they already know, and in testing, 70% of consumers said they would definitely or probably purchase the French Vanilla and Caramel Bar.

This new offering leverages the strength of the caramel segment, which is 16% of the chocolate category, and capitalizes on the vanilla trend and helps grow the vanilla flavor segment, which is outpacing growth in all major categories.
