MIAMI – Burger King is offering a $1 Classic Grilled Dog deal on July 23, also known as National Hot Dog Day.

With the launch of its Grilled Dogs, Burger King claims to be the No. 1 restaurant chain in the United States to sell hot dogs.

“Nothing says summertime more than a grilled hot dog,” said Alex Macedo, Burger King president, North America. “So we’re kicking off National Hot Dog Day with a bang for just a buck, giving everyone a new reason to come in and try Grilled Dogs if they haven’t already.”

Other chains celebrating dog day include Wienerschnitzel, which is offering 99-cent hot dogs all day long, and 7-Eleven, which is offering its Quarter Pound Big Bites for $1.
