ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The NACS Political Engagement team has launched a new NACS Grassroots Guide to Congress. The guide comes in response to a need from NACS members to have immediate access to information pertaining to Congress, such as committee jurisdiction, membership and House and Senate leadership.

This convenient guide is a short, simple way to see which congressional committees are most important to the convenience and fuel retailing industry’s legislative priorities. The guide shows which elected officials are on each committee, as well as a brief description of the issues each committee addresses. 

This information should help show NACS members which committees and legislators need continuous communication on how issues affect their operations. If you see your elected official listed as being on one of these committees, we encourage you to contact them and let them know what is most important to you.
