Mars Unveils Easter 2014 Confections

Mars Chocolate North America is working with retailers on next year’s Easter product line.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – While most retailers are preoccupied keeping packed beverages in their coolers and considering August vacation options, Mars Chocolate North America has begun talking with retail buyers about new Easter items.

According to Mars, 78% of the U.S. population celebrates Easter, and it’s the second most popular holiday for chocolate and candy. Here are a few items Mars is launching:

  • TWIX Brand Egg Singles (also available in six-packs) – an egg-shaped crunchy cookie with creamy caramel coated in TWIX Brand milk chocolate.
  • TWIX Brand Centerpiece Egg – a 5-ounce “egg” with a crispy cookie that’s layered with caramel and covered in milk chocolate.
  • M&M’S Brand Milk Chocolate Solid Bunny with MINIS – blends M&M’s Milk Chocolate MINIS inside the chocolate.

Mars will be launching an Easter 2014 marketing program that includes national freestanding inserts; national television, print and digital advertising; and in-store point-of-sale displays.
