NACS Launches "The C-Store Good Life" Video Contest

New video contest gives exhibitors the opportunity to tell NACS Show attendees why life is good.

June 30, 2011

ALEXANDRIA, VA - "Life is good" cofounder Bert Jacobs isn??t the only one who will share that message to NACS Show attendees. NACS Show exhibitors have the opportunity to communicate the same message with the new "The C-Store Good Life" video contest.

Jacobs, the co-founder and CEO (chief executive optimist) of The Life is good Co., will be an Opening General Session speaker on Oct. 2 at the NACS Show. In tribute to Jacobs?? motivational message, NACS has created a contest for NACS Show exhibitors to create a video that explains how their companies make life good for convenience store retailers.

This is the second year that NACS is conducting an exhibitor video contest. Last year NACS challenged exhibitors to tell Show attendees in 30 seconds why they should visit their booth; Eby-Brown captured top honors.

For this year??s contest, NACS challenges exhibitors to provide as many funny, creative, clever and/or informative reasons why a retailer absolutely must stop and see your booth this year. All videos will be posted on YouTube for viewing in the weeks leading up to the NACS Show.

The winner of "The C-Store Good Life" video contest will receive:

  • Free placement at NACS Online and the NACS Show web site during the week of September 26 through October 5
  • Special posting in the video section of the NACS Show mobile app.
  • Recognition in a NACS Daily article announcing the winner.
  • Announcement on all NACS social media outlets.

Entries will be accepted through July 27.
