WILMINGTON, Del. – Owner Stephen Ohm is pursuing his dream of running a convenience store with the opening of Monkey Market, a new 3,000-square-foot drive-thru store, reports WilmingtonBiz.com.

The news source writes that the goal of the store is to serve customers quickly and conveniently, according to Ohm, who will sell traditional convenience store merchandise and serve coffee from Hampstead-based Java Estates.

Ohm noted that employees serve drive-thru customers, take orders and payment without customers leaving their vehicles. "Customers can get a quick meal, like chunky soup in a pop-top can," Ohm told the news source, adding that he won’t sell lottery tickets. "We're not going to do lottery because the process is so slow. …That might deter some customers, but others will say, 'All right! I can get my order faster.'"
