GLENBURN, Maine - William and Marie Saucier, owners of BJ's Market on Hudson Road, recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals to the convenience store they have been operating since 1998.

BJ's Market is now offering its customers a variety of moving equipment and supplies designed specifically for moving household furnishings, including moving vans, open trailers, closed trailers, furniture pads, appliance dollies, furniture dollies, tow dollies and auto transports. The retailer is also offering sales items to protect its customers' belongings and make moving easier, such as heavy-duty boxes, which are made of up to 90 percent recycled content and are available in a variety of sizes.

"Years ago we had thought about joining the U-Haul team and when we were approached by U-Haul Company we said yes," the Sauciers said. "U-Haul brings more value to my primary business and offers more to the consumers in this community."

"U-Haul is proud to be partnering with a quality independent business such as BJ's Market," exclaimed Jeffery Vaine, president of U-Haul Company of New Hampshire and Maine. "William and Marie are a great example of the type of successful business relationship U-Haul has established in order to build and maintain a strong network of more than 15,000 independent dealers across North America."

In other news, U-Haul announced last week the addition of a new Propane with Fast Pay-at-the-Pump location to a North Auburn, Washington, location.

"Our customers clearly appreciate the fact that U-Haul fills the tank right in front of them and charges for propane only by the gallon, rather than charging a minimum fill or flat fee," explained James Meneghini, general manager of U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Auburn.

U-Haul worked aggressively to develop a handheld-scanning device and currently has more than 1,060 U-Haul propane-refueling locations across North America.
