ATLANTA - In honor of its 125th anniversary, Coca-Cola has added 19 flavors to its Freestyle fountain, bringing the total number of soft drink flavors to 125, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Nearly 400 outlets carry the Freestyle dispensers, and they will all receive the new flavors, which include "gummy bear" (every flavor of Sprite mixed as a combo) and "creamsickle."

The new flavors will not require new ingredient cartridges but will instead leverage the dispenser€™s technology.

"We did it all through a software update," said Gene Farrell, a vice president running the Freestyle project.

Coca-Cola worked with BMW engineers, Ferrari designers, and Microsoft and aerospace experts to design Freestyle, which is now in 40 markets. It plans to expand the dispenser to 80 markets by the end of the year, and it is fielding requests for the machine from Europe.

Coca-Cola is testing a drive-through version at a few QSRs.
