ALEXANDRIA, VA - The NACS Show has been named one of the top 50 trade shows based on net square feet, according to the Trade Show News Network€™s (TSNN) Top 250 Trade Shows in the United States. At 387,600 net square feet, the NACS Show was ranked as the 47th largest U.S. trade show in 2011.

Based on total exhibitors, the NACS Show was ranked 27th among the top 50 shows, meaning that NACS Show attendees are able to take advantage of both a large exhibit space and a wide variety of unique exhibitors. That is why the NACS Show was recently named the top trade show in the United States for "buying plans" and third overall for net buying influence, according to a national survey of the country€™s biggest trade shows conducted by Exhibit Surveys Inc.

The NACS Show rotates between three cities, and all three were in the top five in terms of popularity among the TSNN Top 250 by location. Las Vegas, site of this year€™s event, was the most popular site for the TSNN Top 250 shows, with Chicago (third) and Atlanta (fifth) also ranking high on the list.

The top trade show based on square feet was the tri-annual CONEXPO-CON/AGG, with 2.4 million net square feet. The top annual show was the Consumer Electronic Association€™s International CES, with 1.6 million net square feet. The complete listed is online at tsnn.com/datasite-us.

The NACS Show will take place October 7 to 10 in Las Vegas. NACS Show retailer attendees, as well as wholesalers and distributors, can register for the event and secure housing at nacsshow.com. Full registration, which includes admission to the general sessions, workshops, expo and the welcome reception, is $295 for NACS retailer members and $495 for other retailer attendees. One-day registration also is available ($195 for NACS retailer members and $295 for other retailers). These super-saver rates are available until August 1. Other rates apply for non-exhibiting manufacturers, service providers, brokers and consultants. Exhibitor registration will be available in June.

NACS has negotiated room rates for more than 20 hotels in proximity to the Las Vegas Convention Center and attendees can now request hotel preferences online. Early submission of housing requests will increase the likelihood that attendees will be able to stay at the hotel of their choice within the NACS Show housing block. Equally important, these hotels have access to the shuttles for transport to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center.

In addition, the 2012 NACS Show Virtual site allows retailers to experience the excitement of the NACS Show before, during and after the NACS Show. The site contains more than 10 hours of exclusive content from the 2011 NACS Show, and this year€™s retail attendees will have access to exclusive bonus content by purchasing a one-year NACS Virtual subscription for $25. Non-attendees can also subscribe to NACS Virtual and receive bonus content at rates that start at $100 for a one-year subscription.
